Canadian-bred, electro-spiked pop duo Bob Moses are revisiting the sounds of their highly touted Days Gone By debut and will deliver a deluxe edition of the set by summer's end.
Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie will have the remodelled Days Gone By (Never Enough Edition) at retailers on August 19, via Domino. The updated collection preserves the original 10-song tracklist, but also adds a number of previously unreleased tunes, remixes and more.
The vinyl version of the Never Enough Edition tacks on two brand new tracks: "She Don't Mind" and "Here We Are." Also appearing are a handful of concert-recorded cuts. Recasting some of the album's top tracks in a whole new way, remixes were supplied by the likes of A-Trak, RAC and Joris Voorn, while an acoustic version of "Before I Fall" is also included. You'll find a stream of the latter below.
Helping boost the band even more is the newly released short film, Days Gone By – A Bob Moses Story. The mini-movie acts as a travelogue that traces Bob Moses' recent trips to Southern California and Mexico, as well as describing how the band found their sound. It also shows them contemplating the sonic possibilities of a tea kettle whistle.
