Published Jan 30, 2009In news that should cause collective disgust, Bob Dylan is reportedly pairing up with Will.I.Am for a Pepsi jingle.
According to Billboard, Pepsi has bought two to three minutes of ad time during this Sunday's Super Bowl and may debut a commercial featuring the legendary folkie and the Black Eyed Peas man performing a song together. And what's more is that it's not just any song but one written specifically for Pepsi, as well as a track that will be available for purchase on iTunes (just in case you want to relive this sure-to-be-disturbing moment in history).
Billboard goes on to report that another ad that could make an appearance during the Super Bowl is one featuring Lil Wayne, who's apparently been enlisted by Gatorade. But considering the ad is to relaunch the sports drink as G, this little pair-up actually makes a little sense.
Neither Dylan nor Will.I.Am have confirmed the report, but since this is coming from the usually reliable Billboard, we assume this stomach-turning news item holds some weight.
