We already knew that Bob Dylan will be touring all summer long, no doubt performing at least a few cuts from his newly announced Tempest LP in the process. The legendary songwriter has now just revealed a massive chunk of upcoming tour dates that will keep him busy until the middle of November.
Dylan's definitely giving Western Canada some love this year. As previously reported, he'll be stopping through Lloydminster, AB; Lethbridge, AB; and Cranbrook, BC this August. While the latest leg has him hitting up a number of U.S. cities, the fall dates kick off October 5 at Winnipeg's MTS Centre and will bring Dylan from the Prairies out to Vancouver's Rogers Arena on October 12 before dipping below the border.
UPDATE: Good news, Canada. Dylan has rolled out even more dates and will also be headed to Toronto and Montreal. See the entire updated schedule below. Also Mark Knopfler will join Dylan and his band for the newly announced fall dates.
As reported earlier this week, Dylan's next set, Tempest, hits retailers September 11 via Columbia Records. The ten-track LP is his 35th album over all and was self-produced under the pseudonym Jack Frost.
