"There Are Too Many of Us" (video)

Longstanding Britpop icons Blur recently revealed their return with the announcement of The Magic Whip — the band's first new record since 2003. Along with news of the album, Damon Albarn and co. shared the bombastic, bouncy, ode-to-the-local-pub lead single "Go Out."

Now, the four-piece have unveiled a new track from the forthcoming LP. It's called "There Are Too Many of Us," and it's even been given some accompanying visuals.

The song offers up a slightly gloomier sound than the first single, with a drumbeat similar to that of a military march backing Albarn's robot-icized vocal warnings to the future generation. The clip, meanwhile, features fuzzy footage of the band in a small performance space, flanked by superimposed animated borders (and at times, scrolling high-rise buildings).

The Magic Whip arrives on April 27 via Parlophone. You can watch the new video for "There Are Too Many of Us" below.
