It's been nearly a year since Dev Hynes delivered the Exclaim!-approved Cupid Deluxe album under his Blood Orange moniker, but just last night (October 28) he appeared as the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Hynes led an intensely-choreographed performance of album cut "It Is What It Is," which is a refreshing sight for the late-night circuit, even though it borrows heavily from all things '80s.
Joined by a black leotard-clad posse of dancers and Samantha Urbani on vocals, Hynes even takes a break from the dance routine to shred a guitar solo — with sheet music held up by Dita Von Teese.
After that, he stuck around to perform a web-exclusive rendition of "Time Will Tell." You can watch both performances below.
