Published Dec 17, 2012Last night (December 16), VH1 held their annual Divas special, which featured performances from the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Rowland, Miley Cyrus, and more. Interestingly, Canadian synth-pop quartet Metric also graced the stage at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium to cover Blondie's "Heart of Glass."
As you can see down below, the act played in front of an black and white backdrop replicating Blondie's Parallel Lines LP art. While Metric's take on the disco-pop radio staple was plenty faithful, a voguing Emily Haines gets a little sassier on her lines than Deborah Harry originally did.
