Veteran indie rock combo Blinker the Star are about to go supernova, having just issued their latest EP, 11235. While the release will hit most retailers next week, you can check out the EP in full right now.
A press release explains that the five-song collection contains the first Blinker the Star material to arrive since 2013's "Future Fires," and it was recorded at the band's newly built Skylark Park Studios in Pembroke, ON.
As you'll hear down below, the EP kicks off with the gentle, '70s AM radio-style piano track "Under Night's City Moon" before delivering tube-bursting guitars and impassioned vocals on "Century of the Self."
The rest of Blinker the Star's 11235 EP can be streamed below and picked up on Bandcamp. It will arrive via other digital outlets like iTunes and Spotify on December 18.
