Over the summer, pop-punk daddies Blink-182 embarked on a North American tour with Lil Wayne. After one particular show, Weezy left the stage early and threatened to quit. Fortunately, he stayed the course, and the tour ended on a high. Now, Blink have explained exactly what happened.

Speaking with KROQ in a video available below, the band explained that they had a great time on the road with Lil Wayne.

"He was awesome," Mark Hoppus said. "He was awesome, his band was amazing, his whole crew, everybody. It was so fun all summer long."

As for the night Wayne left the stage, drummer Travis Barker explained that it was just a moment of jitters.

"The one day where he walked off stage, he had said, 'I just felt like they didn't like me,' so he walked off stage… 'I didn't want to put them through it. I just wanted you guys to be able to get on and do your thing,'" Barker explained.

The tour famously concluded with Blink gifting Wayne with a giant blunt
