Published Jan 08, 2014It's only been a year since poppy garage punks Bleeding Rainbow delivered their album Yeah Right, but the Philadelphia band who used to be known as Reading Rainbow are already ready to release the follow-up. Interrupt is due out on February 25 through Kanine.
This is the band's fourth album, although only their second since changing their band name and expanding from a duo to a full four-piece.
According to an announcement, the band recorded Interrupt with a focus on "[keeping] things simple and to the point." The instrumental parts were recorded live, with some tunes captured in a single take. The finished product reportedly channels the usual tuneful harmonies and shoegazing punk we're used to hearing from the band.
