As we pointed out way back in 2009, the band name Reading Rainbow was almost distractingly awesome in that it reminded us of our beloved childhood television series. Though they haven't stated it as a reason, we're thankful that Philadelphia garage crew have switched things up and gone with the much-more-badass moniker Bleeding Rainbow.
"Pink Ruff" is the first we've heard from the newly named group, and it's more of the melodic garage we're used to, albeit with a heightened sense of density as the band fully embrace walls of sound.
The track will appear on the band's upcoming album, which will drop on October 9 via Kanine.
