It turns out Mark Zuckerberg's beef with the Canadian government over Bill C-18 isn't the only dick-measuring contest he's been challenged to lately. Now that Elon Musk wants to sword fight with the Meta spearhead, Grimes wants it to be known that it was her idea.
Speaking with Wired, the singer that wants to be software shared that she thinks the proposed boxing match between Zuckerberg and her Twitter- ā erm, X- ā owning baby daddy has made the tech giants respect each other more (even if she still has it out for Zuck). As Musk says he "may require surgery" before the smackdown, Grimes joked that he should "get out a ruler."
"I'm going to take credit for that one ā¦ I was like, why don't you cut to the chase and get out a ruler. I didn't think he was going to tweet it," she explained, later stating that she hopes the boxing match never actually happens.
She continued:
I would prefer that it didn't happen. I love gladiatorial matches, but watching the father of your children in a physical fight is not the most pleasant feeling. But it's not going to cause brain damage, so actually I think this is good. Dudes need some outlet for trad masculinity. I told Sam Altman there should be a follow-up, him against Demis [Hassabis, head of Google's DeepMind].
We wonder if this contest was Grimes's organic idea or if her AI tweet bot helped her come up with it.
