Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler is officially a senior citizen, but apparently the 65-year-old still knows how to get wild like in the old days, since he was arrested on Tuesday night (January 27) following a reported bar fight.

The incident took place in the Corkscrew Saloon at the Furnace Creek Ranch property in California's Death Valley National Park. After police were called to the scene, Butler was arrested for misdemeanour assault, public intoxication and vandalism.

According to a statement from the Inyo County Sheriff's Office, "It was determined that there had been an argument that escalated into a physical confrontation — resulting in an individual being struck and a broken window."

Butler went to jail and was freed after "detox and citation." He hasn't commented publicly on the incident.

Meanwhile, Black Sabbath have stated their intention to write one final album and go on a last tour, although Tony Iommi has revealed that the cancer he was diagnosed with in 2012 will most likely return.
