Black Sabbath's Classic Albums Celebrated with Line of Converse Shoes

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jan 7, 2014

Black Sabbath were already honoured with their own custom Chuck Taylor shoes back in 2008, and now Converse has unveiled a new line of kicks inspired by the legendary heavy metal band.

The shoemakers are now offering a line of five different Sabbath-themed styles as part of their spring 2014 collection. The designs are taken from the artwork from a few classic albums, with Chuck Taylor hi-tops incorporating images from 1970's Black Sabbath, 1970's Paranoid, and 1978's Never Say Die!

Those three shoes are pictured above. They're available to purchase for $60 per pair from Converse's website. Get more photos and information right here.

As for the other two models, they are part of Converse's CONS Pro Skate line, with both hi-tops and lo-tops featuring the logo from 1972's Vol. 4. As of press time, however, these shoes don't seem to be available from Converse's store.

The shoes will also be at Converse retail locations, select Journeys, and various independent stores.
