Black Mountain and Black Angels Team Up for North American Tour, Play Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver
With their hugely anticipated third album, Wilderness Heart, due this fall, bearded Vancouver, BC rockers Black Mountain have decided to emerge from the cave in which they presumably dwell and embark upon a massive headlining tour.

The run of shows kick off in Chicago and continues through North America for over a month. Along the way, the band will treat Canada to shows in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. And because one "black" band playing vintage rock'n'roll isn't enough, they are bringing another with them, and no, we're not talking about the Black Crowes. Austin, TX's Black Angels will accompany Black Mountain for the whole tour.

As previously reported, Black Mountain's Wilderness Heart will be out on September 14. On that same day, the Black Angels will release their new album, Phosphene Dream. Head over to Pitchfork to hear the Black Angels' version of Black Mountain's "No Satisfaction."
