Black Mountain Announce West Coast Summer Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jul 17, 2012

It's been a couple of years since retro-rocking Vancouverites Black Mountain released their latest official album, 2010's Wilderness Heart, but this summer we'll see some activity from the group in the form of a West Coast tour of North America.

In addition to some U.S. shows in Washington, Oregon and California, the group have a few Canadian shows booked. This includes gigs in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver plus an appearance at Cumberland, BC's the Big Time Out Festival.

See the schedule down below. This tour comes a few months after the band's Year Zero soundtrack, which collected unheard treasures and a few previously released tunes.

Also, if you're in Vancouver, Black Mountain synth offshoot Sinoia Caves will play the Rickshaw on Friday (July 20) with the Psychic Paramount and Trans Am guitar king Phil Manley.
