Black Milk to Drop Album of the Year This Fall

Black Milk to Drop Album of the Year This Fall
When Black Milk released his excellent Tronic in 2008, the album placed No. 8 on our Beats & Rhymes Year in Review. For his next record, the Detroit, MI-based producer and rapper is aiming for higher ground. After all, he's titled the project Album of the Year.

With a title like that, Black Milk is either going through some wild overconfidence or sitting on some of his hottest tracks yet for his fourth album. Based on the tracklisting, the record has some notable guests, including Detroit rappers Royce da 5'9", Danny Brown and Elzhi, so that's a good start.

Album of the Year is set to be released on September 14 via Fat Beats/Decon. Based on the amount that rap albums are delayed, there's a good chance this should be retitled Album of Next Year. For now, check out lead single "Welcome (Gotta Go)" over at Milk's BandCamp page.
