"Perfected on Puritan Ave."

Details are still shaping up behind Black Milk's recently announced No Poison, No Paradise LP, but the Detroit producer/rapper has now cemented an October 15 due date for the platter and premiered a track called "Perfected on Puritan Ave."

The single settles into a pleasing sun-warped groove of wavy synths and water glass-whapping melodies, while the MC reminisces about times spent playing street ball, when rapping was but a back-up plan. Following his nostalgic bars, the song swerves into a wild free jazz skronk session, but ultimately returns to chilled-out beatsmithing.

You can sample it all down below.

While a tracklisting has yet to pop up for No Poison, No Paradise, it's expected to feature guest appearances from the Roots' Black Thought, Robert Glasper, Dwele, Quelle Chris, and more. The LP will arrive care of Black Milk's own Computer Ugly imprint.
