black midi Add Toronto Show, Share Video for "Sugar/Tzu"

The album 'Hellfire' is out this week

British post-punks black midi will release their album Hellfire this week (July 15), and they're previewing it with a video for "Sugar/Tzu." Additionally, the band have added a Toronto show to their North American tour schedule.

The group had already scheduled a North American tour running through September and October. This has now been expanded to conclude with a stop at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre on October 18.

As for "Sugar/Tzu," it's a freaky jazz song with an accompanying video depicting a futuristic boxing fight. Directed by Noel Paul, it's quite a literal interpretation of the lyrics about a bout in the year 2163 that ends with an assassination.
