Published Jan 25, 2010It's been almost a year since the Black Lips' released their last album, 200 Million Thousand, and oh, what an almost-year it's been. The band have since caused trouble with Wavves, collaborated with GZA, released an album as the Almighty Defenders, and done a whole lot of touring. They don't appear to be slowing down, however, with a new batch of spring tour dates.
Following a brief run of shows last week, the band will get their touring machine on good and proper come March, when they will briefly pop up in Canada for a stop in Montreal and two nights of performing in Toronto. Of course, there are a pile more shows happening down south as well.
The Black Lips are rumoured to be at work on their sixth studio album, which is allegedly slated for release this summer. A new song called "So Long to Carolina" was debuted on a live performance for the radio station MAPS. A video of the performance can be viewed below.
