Black Keys Celebrate Summer with Enormous Tour, Play Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver

BY Josiah HughesPublished May 4, 2010

With their upcoming new studio album Brothers hitting shelves in a matter of weeks, it only makes sense that stripped-down blues rockers the Black Keys would be gearing up for some tour dates. They must really want to get the word out about the record, however, as the band have announced nearly five full months of tour dates.

The mammoth trek kicks off right with an opening slot supporting Pearl Jam at New York's Madison Square Garden. From there, they'll head out on their own road trip through North America at the start of June before flying to Europe. Towards the end of July, they'll return to our continent for some more touring, treating Canada to shows in Montreal and Toronto. Then in September, the band will team up with the Kings of Leon for another North American jaunt that includes a stop in Vancouver.

Brothers will drop on May 18 via Nonesuch. The album track "Next Girl" is available for your listening pleasure in our Click Hear department.
