Black Halos Robbed of Van, Gear and Merch

BY Dave SynyardPublished Mar 18, 2008

Over the weekend Vancouver's Black Halos became a rock’n’roll cliché and the latest victims of touring as they had all of their stuff, except the clothing off their backs, stolen from them while they were in Montreal. Just to give you the full picture their van and trailer were taken along with all of their gear, merch and CDs.

To be a little more specific they had approximately 400 CDs of We Are Not Alone taken, and the band warn that if they are available for purchase on any website aside from History Music they would appreciate a friendly e-mail telling them so. A full list of the stolen items can be viewed on the Black Halos MySpace blog, but here are a few things to keep your eyes peeled for at pawnshops and online.

A Ludwig four-piece drum set with red glitter metal flake. All of the drum pieces are in hard shell black cases with yellow Black Halos logos on them.

One A 1960 Gibson Les Paul with a sunburst finish.

One white Sparrow Rat-Rod with a black pic guard, which looks like a Les Paul.

Two Black custom-made Sparrow primitive 335 Electric Hollow body guitar.

One Fender Precision Bass with a Sunburst finish and a black pickguard.

One Jet Glo black Rickenbacker 4003 Bass with a black pickguard.

If you have seen any of these items floating around with suspicious looking people let the Black Halos know what's going down by emailing them at dannycameo@shaw.ca.
