With the success of OFF! as a recent example, the time is right for aging hardcore dudes to form new projects. Founding Black Flag bassist Chuck Dukowski has followed suit, teaming up with members of Oxbow and Insects vs. Robots to form new group Black Face.

According to Vice, the group have just recorded four never-before-heard songs that Dukowski wrote for Black Flag's seminal My War album. The tracks are called "Monster," "I Want to Kill You," "Where Will We Run" and "Leave Me Out to Rot." In addition to that material, the group's live set will include many of the classic tracks that Dukowski wrote for Black Flag.

Frontman Eugene Robinson discussed the new recordings with Vice, saying, "We've finished recording and the stuff is being mastered. We're going to release four songs on two different seven-inches, only on vinyl. I know you can take a USB turntable and burn the songs, but I'm hoping the number of different steps involved in doing that will give people disincentive to do it. I mean, I'm close to living in my car. Which is to say: We spent money on this so you could spend some money on this."

For now, that's all we know, but we'll keep you posted when these recordings have a solid release date.
