There are somehow two separate lineups of Black Flag currently making the rounds — FLAG and Black Flag. The latter, which features Ron Reyes, Greg Ginn and Gregory Moore, have just shared a song from their upcoming LP.
The song's called "Down in the Dirt" and offers up three and a half minutes of mid-tempo guitar noodling and a plodding rhythm section with a vague prog-metal undertone. It's more than likely that you're going to be a little disappointed by it, but you can check it out below or download it here in exchange for your email address.
Oh, and in a press release Black Flag had some less than kind words for FLAG, writing that they are "not to be confused with the 'fake' Flag band currently covering the songs of Black Flag in an embarrassingly weak 'mailing it in' fashion."
