Winnipeg shoegazers Black Cloud are kicking off 2016 with the release of their debut album Sundogs — and Exclaim! is cutting the wait time down by giving you an exclusive early listen to the album before it officially arrives next week.
The five-piece post-rock unit serve up seven new tracks on their first full-length offering, opening with the gloomy fuzz of "Fell Back to Earth," shifting into the hypnotic swirling guitars of "Deluge" and then leading the listener on a cinematic journey through a lovely set of atmospheric instrumentals.
Soaring and falling, the music is both dramatic and deep, while still managing to show off the band's punk and shoegaze roots. Listen to the full collection of songs in the player below.
