Today, Björk delivered first single "The Gate" from her forthcoming LP. While details about the record itself have been scarce otherwise, the name of the new effort has now been revealed.
In a Facebook Live interview with Nowness, Björk revealed the title of the album as Utopia. As previously reported, the full-length is expected to arrive in November. You can watch her name the record around the 47:30 mark of the clip below.
Björk may have even revealed the title in 2016, telling AnOther, "The last album, we sort of call it 'hell' — it was like divorce! So we are doing paradise now. Utopia. We have done hell, we have earned some points."
This year, she's referred to Utopia as her "Tinder album," telling Dazed, "It is definitely about that search — and about being in love. Spending time with a person you enjoy on every level is obviously utopia, you know? I mean, it's real. It's when the dream comes real."
She added: "I set myself up with the last album being a heartbreak album, so everyone's gonna be like, 'Are you married?' with this one. But… it's too fragile still. I think, if I could, I'd just say this is my dating album. Let's just leave it there."
