Bison B.C.'s "Baptized In Beer"

BY Keith CarmanPublished Jun 1, 2009

"We can't wait to crawl back into the blue bitch and drive from town to town, melting faces and damaging livers. So lock up yer liquor cabinets, we will see you in the future."

That eloquent statement comes from Metal Blade Records recording artists Bison B.C., as they announce another stint on the Canadian road. Yes, they just finished one this spring but the Vancouver-based quartet really like to compound injuries to both themselves and fans.

This time, however, they'll be crossing the Great White North with label-mates/buddies Lazarus A.D. for the "Baptized In Beer" tour. Guess they didn't realize the whole "B.C. vs A.D." thing (or maybe they did).

So, yes, it's probably a good idea to lock up your valuables and get out the earplugs. It's a thrash metal nightmare and you're invited. And just to show you how much faith there is in the tour, it's being presented by such wonderfully named (and actually cool) websites as Metal Sucks and Metal Injection. Who says us 'bangers have no sense of humour? Support on select dates will come from Montreal's Barn Burner, and label-mates Woe of Tyrants.

"We are really looking forward to going back to Canada. We had a blast last time and the crowds where sick as fuck," says Lazarus A.D. vocalist/bassist Jeff Paulick. "We also look forward to getting a chance to play some cities we missed on the last couple of tours in the U.S. and can't wait to party with the guys from Bison B.C. and Woe of Tyrants... a tour like this is going to be one big party."
