Bad Bunny might rap circles around Drake on For All the Dogs' Spanish offering "Gently," but, according to Birdman, the Latin trap king is actually his employee.

The Cash Money Records boss and former BC resident was talking to Wack100 on the Clubhouse podcast when he claimed that Bad Bunny is signed to Drake's label OVO Sound.

"Bad Bunny already signed to Drake," he said. "Y'all just don't know it."

When the hosts pressed for more information, Birdman continued to assert that Bad Bunny is signed to OVO, and has been since "day one."

Whether there's any truth to what, at this point in time, amounts to a rumour by Birdman is yet to be determined, but considering all of Bad Bunny's albums since 2020, including his upcoming record Nadie Sabe lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana, have been released under Puerto Rican label Rimas Entertainment, it's tough to determine the role OVO has played in his career, if any.

Drake first tapped Bad Bunny for 2018's "MIA," helping propel the artist toward the mainstream international success he enjoys today, before bringing him aboard For All the Dogs
