Tomorrow (September 11), Billy Talent's new long-player, Dead Silence, arrives in stores through Warner Music Canada. If you haven't yet made your mind up about whether to purchase it, you can now preview the entire album a day in advance.
This marks the successful Toronto punk act's first album since 2009's Billy Talent III. It's their fourth album overall, and their first not to be self-titled (not including the debut disc Watoosh!, which was released under the previous moniker Pezz).
Dead Silence was recorded at Billy Talent's own headquarters plus Vancouver's the Armoury Studios and Toronto's Noble Street Studios. As you can hear below, the record features plenty of fiery pop punk and distortion-laden rock, along with occasional moments of melodic restraint.
All of Billy Talent's upcoming tour dates are in Europe or Australia, so it remains to be seen when the band will hit up some cities a little closer to home.
