This weekend, as Toronto is basking in the afterglow of a day at Field Trip, Hamilton's Billy Moon will be playing an official afterparty for the festival. That will be just the start of a string of Canadian shows for songwriter Graham Caldwell, since he will be taking his garage-pop project as far as the East Coast.
The outing runs for most of this month, stretching from June 6 to 27. In that time, Moon will play nine shows (a third of them in Toronto), with the trip wrapping up with a few stops in the Maritimes. A handful of the dates are with the Beauts.
