We recently learned that Smashing Pumpkins head honcho Billy Corgan would be offloading a pile of his iconic gear via a specialized online shop. Well, today (August 16) is opening day, and you now have the chance to pick up a piece of Smashing Pumpkins history.

A description from Reverb reads as follows:
Welcome to the official Billy Corgan Reverb Shop. Over 100 pieces of gear that Billy Corgan used to craft sounds for recordings and tours — the pre–amps, heads, combos, guitars, basses, and more — are now available for sale. You'll find everything from a drum machine used on pre-Pumpkins demos, the Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie amp rigs, prototype signature Fender Strats and other collector-grade vintage guitars, and so much more from Machina to Zwan.
That means you could grab the Stratocaster Corgan played on "Today" and "Cherub Rock," or the 1970s Orange OR-20 amp used on the Siamese Dream tours. Or hell, there's the electric sitar heard on Teargarden by Kaleidyscope cut "A Stitch in Time" and the autoharp heard on "We Only Come at Night."
