Having fronted the Smashing Pumpkins throughout their heyday and gone on InfoWars, William Patrick Corgan has undoubtedly seen some shit during his time on Earth. Apparently, the artist formerly known as Billy has also seen a person transform before his very eyes, though the incident is hard to explain.
Corgan dropped by The Howard Stern Show yesterday (October 16) to play a few songs from his new solo disc Ogilala. While speaking with Stern about his paranormal experiences, Corgan alluded to one that involved a human transforming into something non-human.
"Let's just say I was with somebody once, and I saw a transformation that I can't explain," Corgan said. "I was not [on drugs], I was totally sober."
The rest of the conversation played out as follows:
Corgan: Imagine you're doing something and suddenly you turn around and there's somebody else standing there.
Stern: A different human?
Corgan: Sorta. It's hard to explain without going into detail–I'd rather not go into details.
Stern: But did you say to the person, "What'd you just do here?"
Corgan: Yes, and they acknowledged it.
Stern: And what did they say they were? From another planet?
Corgan: They wouldn't explain.
The question now isn't so much what Corgan saw, but rather how much of Alex Jones' beefcake conspiracy supplements he was fed during his InfoWars appearances.
