Billie Eilish Shares New Song "When I Was Older" Inspired by Alfonso Cuarón's 'Roma'

Seventeen-year-old rising star Billie Eilish has unveiled a new single with an unlikely origin story. According to the singer, "When I Was Older" was inspired by Alfonso Cuarón's acclaimed film Roma.
 
The new track may not be from Roma's official soundtrack or score, but it has received approval from Cuarón himself. The diretor took to Twitter to declare Eilish's song "moving and beautiful."
