Bill Wells "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" (ft. Satomi Matsuzaki of Deerhoof)
Scottish jazzman Bill Wells has recruited some indie stars for an album of nursery rhymes called, appropriately enough, Nursery Rhymes. It includes an appearance from Deerhoof's Satomi Matsuzaki, who sings on a newly unveiled version of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."

The album finds Wells putting a creepy spin on some well-known nursery rhymes, and this rendition of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" features an unsettling soundscape of childlike melodies, plinky bells, unsettling violin flourishes and some slightly dissonant chord choices.

Nursery Rhymes will be out on out on November 20 via Karaoke Kalk and can be pre-ordered here. It features Yo La Tengo, former Belle & Sebastian member Isobel Campbell, Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake, Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris and more. Below "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," check out a previously unveiled rendition of "Three Blind Mice" with Karen Mantler and Yo La Tengo.
