Bill Orcutt, Pete Swanson, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma Team Up for Tom Carter Benefit Comp

Earlier this year, we learned that guitarist Tom Carter (best known for his work in the prolific Texas rock group Charalambides) was hospitalized due to complications from pneumonia.

Though he's back in the United States from his original hospital stay in Berlin, Carter remains unable to work or tour until sometime next year at the very earliest. That, combined with medical bills, means that he's going to need some help to scrape by. Thankfully, his many friends in the guitar whiz community have teamed up for a benefit compilation.

Titled Music for Tom Carter, the compilation features appearances from the likes of Bill Orcutt, Decimus, Pete Swanson, Evan Caminiti, Jefre Cantu-Ledesma and many others. The compilation can be streamed below, but you should obviously buy it for yourself, as all of the proceeds go directly to Carter.

If you'd like to donate money to Carter without getting a rad compilation out of the deal (maybe your hard drive is full or some other scenario has taken place that prevents you from enjoying guitar compositions), you can donate directly to Carter's cause here.
