Big K.R.I.T. Plots 'Last King 2: God's Machine' Mixtape, Premieres New Cut

Though Mississippi-bred rapper/producer Big K.R.I.T. tipped us off to his next album, Live From the Underground, coming out early this fall, the Southern rhymer has just announced a mixtape will come out even sooner. The burgeoning hip-hop star will be releasing Last King 2: God's Machine by the end of the month.

Big K.R.I.T. took to his Twitter last night (August 3) to premiere a new tune from the set called "Happy Birthday Hip-Hop," a finger-snappin', blues-piano-laden jam that also features Yelawolf. The song was recorded just over a year ago, the night Yelawolf and Big K.R.I.T. met.

"Me & my #Countrycuzzin @Yelawolf #HappyBirthdayHipHop," K.R.I.T. tweeted, along with the link for the track, which you can download here.

While just the one track from Last King 2: God's Machine is available at the moment, you can nab the rest of the mixtape on August 18. As previously reported, Live From the Underground is set for a September 27 release.
