Big Boi Sets November Release Date for 'Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors'

Last month, Outkast rapper Big Boi revealed that his next solo album would be called Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. Now, he's announced the release date.

Taking to his Twitter, Big Boi wrote, "BREAKING NEWS !!!!!!!!!!!! Brand New Big Boi Album in Stores November 13 2012 ' Vicious Lies And Dangerous Rumors ' ™ RETWEET."

Before you get too excited, don't forget that Big Boi's 2010 effort Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty was delayed for a full two years from its original release date. Still, one can only hope that he's learned from previous mistakes and figured out how to stick to a schedule.

So far, Big Boi has confirmed that UGK and Big K.R.I.T. will appear on the album. Still no word on whether or not the Modest Mouse and Owl City collaborations made the cut, though we're hoping it's a yes for the former and a giant no for the latter.

While it's unclear whether it will appear on the new album, Big Boi recently released a sexed-up anthem with Theophilus London called "She Said OK," which can be streamed below.
