Yesterday (July 12), the Outkast legend joined in the team's championship boat parade along the Tampa waterfront, performing a free show in celebration of the Lightning's Stanley Cup Finals series win over the Montreal Canadiens last week.
As Big Boi explained in a social media update from the Sunshine State, his song "All Night" — taken from 2017 solo outing Boomiverse — was a hit on the Lightning's locker room playlist throughout their Stanley Cup run. Of course, the artist also had his own custom "Daddy Fat Saxxx" Lightning jersey created for the occasion.

Later on, Big Boi and Sleepy Brown of Organized Noise even got a chance to handle the celebrated trophy themselves, meeting up for photos with Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy, who was awarded the NHL's Conn Smythe Trophy as most valuable player during the playoffs. Take it from the two Atlanta legends when they say the Stanley Cup is "heavy as fukk."
