Big Boi Announces North American Tour with Killer Mike, Plays Toronto for NXNE

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 6, 2013

We're not likely to hear from Outkast anytime soon, but the group's Big Boi is making it up to us by hitting the road for a lengthy North American tour in the coming months.

Dubbed the "Shoes for Running Tour," the busy trek lasts for a little over two months from April to June, and as Rolling Stone reports, fellow Atlanta MC Killer Mike will be opening and playing alongside Big Boi during the tour.

Almost all of the shows are in the U.S., but Big Boi will make his way up north for a lone Canadian show in Toronto on June 16. This gig is part of NXNE (a festival that has already announced a few performers). Also, Big Boi will apparently be playing solo cuts, along with some Outkast classics, during the tour.

The tour is in support of last year's Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. If you happen to run into Big Boi on the road, be sure not to ask him any questions about Outkast.
