Published Feb 10, 2017Three years on from unleashing their debut Monsoon Season, Toronto rockers Biblical are gearing up to release a sophomore effort in 2017.
Today (February 10), the band announced their signing to New York indie label Tee Pee Records, through which they will release The City That Always Sleeps this September. New Damage Records will remain as the band's label home in their native Canada.
A press release describes the record as "a deep dive into sludgy psych rock that explores spaces, textures and tones beyond the outer limits."
"We've been fans of Tee Pee for ages," bassist/vocalist Nick Sewell said in a statement. "The label has put out so many awesome records, it really is the perfect fit and we can't wait to share our new LP. It's got all things that you want in a Biblical record: 'Something old, something new. Something borrowed, something blue.'"
Stay tuned for the further details on The City That Always Sleeps.
