Beyoncé and André 3000

"Back to Black" (Amy Winehouse cover)

It's been well-publicized that Jay-Z executive produced the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. Now, we get a leak of one of the film's most anticipated songs, which sees Beyoncé and André 3000 cover Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black."

The track was premiered by original Amy Winehouse producer Mark Ronson, who shared it on his weekly East Village Radio show. Unfortunately, that means it's heavily tagged, so keep that in mind when you listen below.

Outside of that, the song sees both artists offering up a decidedly sedate vocal delivery, while Hollywood Holt's production is woozy and slow. By the end, a busy drumbeat kicks in, but it might be too late to save the song from its uneventful first half.

Check out "Back to Black" below. The Great Gatsby soundtrack will drop on May 7 via Interscope, with a vinyl version arriving via Third Man Records down the road.
