Beyoncé was set to be one of three massive headliners for Coachella's 2017 edition. Now, the pop icon has announced that she will not be a part of the festival bill this year.
In a statement to the Associated Press, Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment and concert promoter Goldenvoice revealed that the pop icon was told to cancel her performance "following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months." Of course, the news comes as a result of her pregnancy.
The statement also reveals that Beyoncé will instead perform at Coachella in 2018 as a makeup date.
Coachella runs from April 14 to 16 then again from April 21 to 23, in Indio, CA. Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar are the festival's two other headliners.
