Always one to mark an anniversary in style, Beyoncé is celebrating the one-year anniversary of Lemonade's release with an initiative intended to inspire future generations of creative minds.

She's launched a scholarship program called "Formation Scholars," designed "to encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, creative, conscious and confident."

Four scholarships will be granted in total, one at each participating college — Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design and Spelman College. Applications will be open for the 2017-2018 academic year, and will be available to incoming, current or graduate female students studying creative arts, music, literature or African-American studies.

All details and deadlines will be available through the respective colleges.
