Best Coast Drop New Video, Prep New Single

Last month, we learned that much-buzzed about noisemakers Best Coast (aka Bethany Cosentino and cohort Bobb Bruno) were working on their first full-length album, due out sometime in the second half of this year. While they have not yet announced any specifics about the upcoming LP, Best Coast will be tiding fans over with yet another single. It's the pair's sixth seven-inch, and brings together the songs "Far Away" and "Everyone's Gone."

The single will be released on May 3 and will come courtesy of headphone company Eskuché, as part of its vinyl series, Obsessive Compulsive Frequency. Of course, it's ironic that a boutique headphone company would want to release a single by Best Coast, given that the band favour scuzzy, ultra lo-fi recording methods.

As well as preparing the new single, Best Coast have been busy filming a video for one of their previous releases. The clip for "When I'm with You" hit the web today (April 14), depicting Cosentino going out on a beach date with a Ronald McDonald lookalike while Bruno fires off guitar licks in front of an In-N-Out Burger. It's awesomely summery stuff, so check it out below, courtesy of MTVU.com.
