Bend Sinister Hit the Road with The Sound of Fiction Tour

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Feb 2, 2009

Bend Sinister have announced they're leaving the rainy confines of Vancouver to head out on a Canada-wide tour. Beginning in March, the prog-y left coast rockers will take their live show to a chunk of Canadian cities, hitting up Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, as well as many others along the way.

The Bend Sinister dates come in support of the group's latest slab of bombastic rock'n'roll, Stories Of Brothers, Tales of Lovers, which in our words aimed "a progressively-tinged classic rock missile squarely at listeners' heads." And if that isn't enough to pique your interest, the band will also bring along some extra touring muscle, with Montreal alt-rock outfit Mobile and Winnipeg's Inward Eye serving as openers for much of the live trek, which has been given the name the Sound of Fiction Tour.
