The Weeknd has been laying low since The Idol's polarizing finale, but that didn't stop Rolling Stone from finding — and broadcasting — his least-streamed song. The publication has hunted down the least-streamed song on Spotify from some of the biggest artists in the world and determined whether or not those tracks actually deserve to be skipped.

The Weeknd (or is it Abel now?) stood as the lone Canadian on the list, with "Belong to the World" from his 2013 debut album Kiss Land taking home least-streamed song honours at just over 44.2 million plays. Given its release as the second single previewing Kiss Land, albeit before the peak of his popularity, it was surprising to see the track at the depths of the Toronto pop star's discography.

Rolling Stone was sure to clarify that spoken-word tracks like Jim Carrey's contribution to Dawn FM's "Phantom Regret by Jim" weren't included in the list, concluding that "Belong to the World" does, in fact, deserve to be his least popular track (although without providing much reason as to why outside of its inability to match up to later singles "The Hills" and "Can't Feel My Face").

Listen to "Belong to the World" below and decide for yourself if it deserves to be the Weeknd's least-streamed song.
