Bellwoods Book Canadian Tour with Bobby Bazini
Vancouver-based songwriter Morgan Cameron Ross used to front the Birds of Wales while Montreal's Alan Snoddy played guitar with Stars, but after the two musicians both moved to Toronto near Trinity Bellwoods Park, they decided to join forces under the name Bellwoods. Having issued their folk-pop single "Live It Up" last year, they're preparing to tour in Canada.

Besides a Quecbec City show later this month, the outing will take place in the western part of the country this spring. Most of the shows are opening slots with Bobby Bazini, who they will support in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. The band are well acquainted with Bazini, since Ross co-wrote his song "Bubblegum (I Can't Stand This Feeling)" from last year's album Where I Belong.

Once the leg with Bazini is over, Bellwoods will play a headlining gig in Winnipeg. All told, they've got eight shows booked.

See the schedule below, and scroll past that to hear "Live It Up."
