Published Aug 29, 2014Riff Raff has taken exception with rising UK singer Sam Smith over an Instagram snub that found the NEON iCON chopped out of a photo featuring a bunch of pop stars.
The controversy-stirring snap shot was taken last weekend at the MTV VMAs and posted on Smith's Instagram on Monday (August 25). As you can see below, it finds the finely coiffed figure sharing a candid moment with a mohair jacket-wearing, peace-sign throwing Charli XCX and Katy Perry, and is captioned with a friendly "So amazing to see my girl @charli_xcx last night!! Smashing it so hard."
Problem is, Riff Raff, being Perry's date for the night, was also seated with the three singers, as you can see from the original photo above. While XCX and Perry managed to, ahem, stay with Smith, the rapper was chopped out of the pic. Whether this is owing to the square-sized format of Instagram or a total diss towards Riff Raff is as yet unclear.
Regardless, Jody Highroller caught wind of the snub today (August 29), and launched the following angry message on Twitter:
THANKS FOR CUTTiNG ME OUT OF THE PiCTURE U CHUBBY LiTTLE FUCK FACTORY P.S. YOUR FACE iS SUPER HUGE @samsmithworld— RiFF RAFF (@JODYHiGHROLLER) August 29, 2014
The lesson here being, if you manage to get a Mad Decent snap with the grilled-out Golden Alien, you had better post that pic in full, lest you want to raise ire with the rap game James Franco.
