Beefs 2013: Future Kicked Off Drake Tour, Plots $1.5 Million Lawsuit
After some delays, Toronto rapper Drake is finally set to kick off his "Would You Like a Tour?" run of shows. There will be a lot less AutoTune, however, as Future has reportedly been booted from the bill.

The New York Post reports that Drake booted Future from the trek because of some comments Future made to Billboard. Discussing Drake's new Nothing Was the Same LP, Future said, "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do."

Future's management reportedly pressured Billboard to edit the comments out of their article, claiming that he was quoted out of context. Regardless, Drake was reportedly pissed, insisting that Future be let go from the tour. Doesn't he realize that being honest is kinda Future's thing right now?

The two parties have reportedly been arguing behind the scenes, trying to get Future back on the tour. When Drake's camp asked him to make financial concessions, he pulled out of the tour for good. Initially set to make $40,000 per show, Future is said to be filing a $1.5 million lawsuit against Drake this week.

No word on if Future will be replaced on the tour, but Miguel is still on board as an opener. Here's hoping he doesn't have any opinions about Nothing Was the Same.

UPDATE: As reported, Future is now back on the tour, leading us to (wisely) assume that the lawsuit against Drake has been quashed.
