Published Dec 20, 2012Last month, A$AP Rocky's A$AP Mob and SpaceGhostPurrp's Raider Klan clashed violently outside a Miami concert, and it looks as if the former friends' beef will continue on record. Rocky's upcoming LongLiveA$AP LP seemingly hurls some pointed barbs at Purrp on new tune "Angels."
A$AP Rocky's LP leaked earlier this week, and the slow-drip deluxe edition bonus cut in question features a handful of lines aimed at his Miami rival, starting with "N****s claim they the God of black / Well your name is purple, I'm the God of that / Gave you my back, n***a pardon that." Rocky then goes on to rag on Purrp's hometown ("Motherfuck Blackland, I brought Harlem back").
You can sample a chopped-and-screwed version of the song down below and decided whether or not it's a diss track.
While you're there, you can also check out a leak of the Skrillex-assisted "Wild for the Night."
Since Rocky admitted a while back that the long-delayed album had been completed for quite some time and was being held up over mastering issues, it's conceivable that the lines in question could allude to some stale beef. However, both sides have flung Twitter insults at each since the summer. Rocky also dissed Purrp on the red carpet this fall, calling the MC/producer a hanger-on.
As previously reported LongLiveA$AP drops January 15.
