We recently learned that Beck had contributed three new songs to the upcoming PlayStation game Sound Shapes, a side-scrolling platformer when your actions control the music. If you were intrigued by this concept, you can now get a taste of what to expect thanks to a newly unveiled trailer.
In the two-minute clip below, you'll hear Beck's sunny, electro-tinged cut "Cities" and see some gameplay from the level inspired by the song. The game developers also talk a bit about how the imagery and levels were created.
Sound Shapes will be available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita starting August 7. Along with Beck, it features original music from deadmau5, Jim Guthrie, and I Am Robot and Proud.
